Oral Skills

The art of oral communication is a difficult yet achievable goal. It begins with the understanding that your audience needs to be stimulated intellectually as well as visually. This is displayed through simultaneous lecture and powerpoint images. Body language is also a key part of oral communication as it keeps the audience connected  with the tone of your presentation. In an article written by The  University of Canberra, the first step of verbally communicating ideas is a planning step. Ideas are best communicated when brought up confidently and convincing. Involving the audience in questions or discussions is important when trying to keep the audience engaged with the presentation. Visual aids and interactions are also helping oral skills. It ends with saying that smiling and conveying confidence is the most important factor in having advanced oral skills.
